Uh oh… stripped my locking wheel nut key!

Got the offending bolt out using a sacrificial socket…. But have 3 more to do! Is anyone near Brize Norton in Oxfordshire who has one of these for an Audi?:

Not sure if it’s a ‘p’ or a ‘d’ though!

cause more hassle than they are worth these days, locking wheel nuts.

nobody steals wheels these days. if crims are going to steal anything, they'll just use keyless entry and nick the whole car.

Indeed. My Mrs brother has just had this with his C4 cactus. Not even Citroen main dealers could help him in the end. Ridiculous!

If its any help OP, the Audi ones are available on eBay for pretty cheap. We lost our locking wheel nut for our Q2 and resorted to eBay..

I've had good experience with this guy - based near Reading if I recall.

Keep meaning to buy four normal wheel bolts and throw my lockers away. Can't imagine 9 year old Freelander 2 alloys are too sought after on the black market.

I drove to my BMW dealer, bought 4 standard bolts and asked to use their box of locking wheel nuts and did a quick swap in the car park.

Those petal type ones that the OP has are rubbish and will eventually give at the wrong moment.
