Yeah. Right up until/if there's a payout. Then it'll be mostly swallowed up by their 'legal costs'. It's ambulance chasing by another name. Having said that, nothing ventured nothing gained, right?There's a specific problem with certain JLR diesels. Given that an internal JLR document explains that some of their cars are "heavily affected ... by DPF blockage" due to bodging a DPF onto a vehicle architecture not designed for one then you have to ask, is the vehicle fit for purpose, and what legal remedy might be appropriate.

I have no idea if joining such a suit is a good idea or not, but I do feel that legislators impose unreasonable requirements on carmakers, carmakers push half-baked gadgets onto their customers, and it's the poor old motorist who ends up picking up the bill when it predictably and inevitably fails well within the car's expected lifespan.
