DirectLine reassessment of settlement - anybody had this?

Had a letter out of the blue from DirectLine regarding a 306 Dturbo somebody rear ended in 2018. They said their settlement was not enough and have sent me an extra £140!
I remember arguing this in 2018 when they offered me £180. I argued it to £700. Their assessment obviously deemed even this was unfair.

Anybody else? Any surprises?

Yes, I had an cheque for £500ish arrive at the end of last year.

At the time I wasn't unhappy with the pay out as it was already £100 more than I'd paid for the car a few months before, they also let m buy it back for very reasonable money.
