Watching this review of the MG Comet EV in India:

don't worry about the car, but just look at the roads! Trees in the middle of carriageways, roads built around pylons, and the usual phalanx of auto-rickshaws, suicidal lane choices, cows, and so on.

I last lived in India in the 1990s. More roads may have been built, but the degree to which life must be taken in hands doesn't seem to have changed a bit!

The roads in India are unusual, at best.

This was the best I witnessed, after maybe a 15 lane toll booth find yourself in the wrong lane, just turn at 90 degrees to the traffic and drive across.

For those who don't want to watch the whole thing, here's a still for a flavour. What were the road-builders thinking?! smile
