USA vehicle check

[hughandjen]

Hi all
I have bought a 1975 Triumph TR6 that was imported to the UK a couple of years ago. I have some of the old Indiana licence documents.
It is only showing 10k miles. Is there a trusted USA site than can do vehicle checks using vin or reg?
I’m worried about being scammed to be honest
Thank you

At that age I would be buying solely on condition.
For reference I have a 1970 Chevy pick up which I brought while in the US. The official paper work shows it as being on 45,000 miles... But there is a very faded 20+ year old sticker in the window which shows 80,000 miles.

CARFAX is a commonly recognised and industry standard in the US for hisotry checks etc.
