Cat problems

My Ferrari 360 is too big for the garage so sits on the driveway. I drive it about once a week on weekends.

My cat keeps using it as a climbing frame and i came out today to find a scratch where she slipped! The last straw something has to be done but i'm not sure what.

I can't park it somewhere else as i keep it on a Ctek charger.

I have an outdoor car cover but the car needs to be clean every time i drive it or this can bring more scratches/swirls.

Does anyone have any ideas that won't be the cost of a carcoon / PPF etc..?

I was thinking some kind of fencing/barrier i could wrap around maybe? Or if there's something i can put around the car to repel the cat?

Maybe look for natural Cat repellents ? Citrus ? Moth Balls ? etc

Is it a proper scratch or just a mark like people’s finger nails can leave around door handles? These can usually be polished away easily.

Today i found the first proper scratch i can just about feel it with my fingernail.

At first it was just footprints everywhere

Two options:

1. Keep the cat shut in the house (at which point a neighbours cat or a pigeon with diarrhea will sit on it instead)

2. Keep the car in the house - who needs living rooms anyway.......

Seriously though you'll either need to accept that a car kept outside won't remain in pristine condition, or spend a bit of money on somewhere secure to store it - there is usually some way of enlarging the garage unless you live on a very small plot.

i see what you mean, it's more the inconvencience of having it stored elsewhere than home, i'd never be bothered to go and collect it and drive it!
