ID this burglary vehicle - help please?

Trying to ID this possibly silver SUV driving off from shed/garage burglary.

We have homed in on maybe an early 2000's Subaru Forester perhaps?

Styling cues we can see are: Glass sunroof, distinctive roof ribs, side bars, side bulge on bonnet (no air scoop so not XT) headlight style of that era?

It does look like a 2000 model year Forester.

Grill looks wrong for a forester for me.

Forester grill of that period is more in an M shape where it's wider at the bottom than at the top. That grill is a W shape where it's wider at the top than at the bottom

Looks more like a Mitsubihi Shogun grille to me:

My first thought was a Volvo 240 era then a Ssangyong Kyron, the roof dimples above the windscreen will give it away, some older Korean SUV thing an early Kia Sportage 2005'ish etc

Shogun I reckon, or maybe a gen 1 Nissan X trail.

The square arches and then roof reinforcement flutes with the sunroof should help narrow it down, I'd say probably Grand Vitara.

I'd like to add these two to the list because I saw them today and they both have roof ribs, I think your cctv is distorting the side profile,
Kia Sportage from 2010 era, massive chunky C pillar and roof ribs,
Mitsubishi Outlander, first generation, there is a facelift and the Peugeot 4007, the headlights look quite angled.
From the side profile I think it's distorted the C pillar swaps around it does look like a chunky style Suzuki Vitara etc,
I'd go with these two, probably more so the Sportage because of the grill and chunky C pillar, the roof bars look more like the Mitsubishi.

If its not a Subaru Forestor then it might be a Suzuki Grand Vitara
