Exactly the marks could have been there long before but they have noticed them since parking next to mine as it’s white and now they think it’s me , apparently I’ve done it to all the cars they have ever parked there and I said I must find out what paint my car is painted in as it lasts very well to still be in showroom condition
the white marks aren't marks, they are chips on his paintwork caused by the door edge of the car being opened into it. there will likely not be any corresponding damage on the door being opened.
just going by what you have said, but if his car never moves and you always park next to it, who else could it be?
regardless of how irritating this is for either party [more for him that you], the onus is on him to prove liability, this is what cctv is for. he can also remedy the panel damage via his insurer.

That's not proof of anything, white marks are what you normally get when clearcoat or paint gets scratched regardless of the colour of the other car. It would have to be quite a heavy contact to transfer paint over.

this isn't facebook. read what i wrote, just repeating yourself doesn't change facts. the burden of proof is upon him and the route to rectify the damage is via his insurer. they aren't white paint marks, they're chips through the top coat. i mean, if his car never moves and you always park in the same place, then the damage to his car will either line up with where your door would hit it, or it doesnt.

how big a gap is there between your two cars when parked? and how old are your kids? cause with the best will in the world, most kids be banging doors.

This x2.Years ago neighbour swiped the rear corner of our grey V50 in her little bright yellow Kia. Lots of paint transfer from her front bumper. She denied all knowledge.
Went out with a tape measure and measured the yellow paint on our car with the missing paint from her front bumper. Lined up perfectly.
Plenty of photos sent to insurers who very quickly found her liable.
