My father bought a brand new 1978 Toyota Cressida in this rather inappropriate colour with beige nylon velour seats and brown dash with chrome highlights. Very mini-Americana when BL were all wedgy ( he actually replaced it with a Princess 2 ) and Ford were sharp and sloping their noses. The performance from the 2.0 was unexceptional and the handling adequate. Steering wasn't even rack and pinion. Now, of course, it's as cool as Siberia but back then, it was quite banal.
How unexpected might this be ?

My Dad had a Maxi HL in tundra green (with added rust), I'd take one of those if I could.
