Clocked Vito not showing on dvla mot mileage check

Looking at a cheap 90 k vito on FB , rang guy. He could literally only grunt reply’s or gabble quickly what a clean van it was 😁 .. so checked mot history on gov site - ALL FINE …from 2017 onwards nibbling up .. Decided on a car check , paying £10 , came back as ex taxi for 5 years in Edinburgh.. with a load of mot history showing the large mileages from 2015 onwards up to 330k ! Think as taxi mot after only 12 months from new required ..
How is this not on the gov site ??
I understand that the mot history can show a reduction in mileage for instance in one year then you can spot it if you look back carefully but this wasn’t the case . Same reg totally different history .. thoughts ?
