Stellantis dealers - can Citroen service Peugeot, etcetera?
Discussion
I've got a Peugeot due its first service. It's on Lease. Nearest main dealer is 2 hours away. I pointed out it's the same car as a Citroen, Vauxhall or DS under the skin. But I was told it has to go to a Peugeot dealer, nowhere else. Great. Anyone else had a similar experience, or maybe been more fortunate?
You will have to go to the pugeot dealer.
The lease company wont authorise work from another dealer.
Even if there was pugeot and Citreon on the same site with the same workshop. They would need a Pugeot login and a Citreon login to get the services authorised by the appopriate 'dealer'.

Thank you. Yes I thought that might be the case, to do with software systems and connections. The lease company wont authorise work from another dealer.

Weird as the "Stellantis" dealers are all formed of old PSA and Fiat etc converted. One of my family has a Peugeot and it's looked after by what used to be a Citroen dealer, now just Stellantis with their general workshop.
Yeah this is exactly what I was hoping would be possible in my situation!Forums | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
