Insurance Database - What’s being held on you ?

I just read an article in today’s Sunday Times about a man whose car insurance had increased due to an error on the insurance database ‘the CUE’. He was able to correct the mistake by getting a copy of his record from the Motor Insurers' Bureau (MIB). There’s a link to the article below thought it’s behind a paywall:-

It might be worth a subject access request to check on what’s being held on you. I’m doing just that:-
