overthinking car hire question for infirm passengers

i need to rent something today. mum is in hospital for a hernia op.
what's better for a not very mobile senior to get in and out of. full size suv or mid size? enterprise have xc90 and vx60 which i reckon will have decent space and ride. pug 508, kuga, etc. also available. Thinking a saloon [arteon, c class] will be too low?
she was normally ok with my disco but then i would usually drop it to access height and that's before the walking frame came on the scene.
probably overthinking as there will likely be NHS transport but need a backup that works. guess i can also get a wheelchair or walking frame in an suv easily also.

FWIW our Discovery Sport is a bit of a clamber up into.
I’d say either a full size SUV with air springs that can be dropped, or a lower SUV like an XC60, and ideally one with comfort seats ie no big sports bolsters for your mum to negotiate
5008 or Kuga would be perfect… rented a 5008 on holiday recently and it was brilliant.

But I’d say most mainstream crossovers will be fine. They’re popular because they’re so easy to get in and out of.
