Mentioned in the 9-5 thread, but here's the auction. Electric and a REX from 0SEK starting prices all round.

Good find!

Shame GM put the stoppers on Saab. It would have been a great EV brand I think. Whenever I drive a Saab I always think what pleasant cars they are, with real character.

Lovely old cars, I had a couple of 9-5 Aeros.

Supremely comfortable and well designed interior, I always thought a lot of their aerospace engineering shone through.

Went like the bloody clappers too driving

The GM Saabs were crap so better that they ceased to exist than continued to churn out substandard stuff. Their mistake was not making an SUV. Had they done so (as Volvo did) I expect they would still be around.

As an ex-Saab owner and fan, this is a cool thing to see! It is a shame brand died off as it was pretty unique in it's outlook.

I've owned three 9-3s in each shape and despite their GM underpinnings, they still felt a bit different and had some quirky, good design touches.

This is great, I can day dream a little bit.

I really like my saab 9-3. Im often fed up with things constantly breaking on an old car but then puts a smile on my face when I sit on the leather seat.

I think gm in general should have gone that route. Saab was doomed due to the gm bankruptcy in 2008
