Thought you might like to see a short video of my Son Tom on his first ever Blat in my Caterham R500.

He is enjoying himself I promise, and in the second video he does ask me "can we go fast again?"

Obviously not as rapid, but my Nephew used to love making progress in my old Honda S2000, as he did in his Dad's Chimera.

That said, little git grassed me up to my sister - When asked if he enjoyed his first blatt with me he said,'It was very, very cool but I think Uncle James was being a bit illegal'.

I should point out that he is holding on to his head, to hold the Wiley X glasses on as well as the ear plugs in his ears, that will not stay in.

I have now bought him some Peltor Kids Ear Defenders, so he does not have to worry on our next trip out.

I will try to make another video next time we go out.

My Dad used to do the same in his series 1 lotus 7 when I was about that age. He even put a 4 position harness in for me to make my Mum less scared.
