Decent rally experience day near Portsmouth?
Discussion
We Just did a rally course with these guys at Haynes motor museum it was really good and not too far from you:
Was really good and good value: they teach you how to drive/steer the car on the throttle.
The instructors are really good (rally drivers) and encourage you to push on and get the hang of driving sideways.
Lots and lots of sideways action! But not mark 2 escorts in fact they have rear wheel drive impreza's to learn how to power slide, plus a 4wd rally impreza RA.
The course is laid out on Tarmac and it was amazing how easily you can drive sideways with some tuition.
Located off the A303 near Yeovill it takes about an hour and twenty from the M25/M3.
The Haynes museum is well worth a look while you are there they have over 400 cars on show including some real unusual exhibits.
