I was just watching Jackass Gumball 3000. Is the PH'er L100ONY related to the white Fezza that crashed in this program with the same reg no?

The driving of the white 355 Spider with the reg number L100ONY
was very impressive - but resulted in a big crash!

In that program it is a 355 berlinetta the crashes. The Reyland Cossie is a separate but similar incident.

I thought that number plate belonged to a rather tasty purple or blue Escort Cossie? Used to see it at Ace Cafe all the time and at Ford Fair

That's the one. IIRC the accident got a bit of coverage in Redline magazine years ago, I think the editor was friendly with the owner of Reyland.

Not the same car the one that crashed was white that is the replacement built by the same man.

He was on the run with some guys from redline which is why there was so much coverage

Redline staff writer or what ever he does the guys name is Renton I think that has some links with Reyland .................................. I think, don't hold me to that though

there was a guy with a blue escos with some kind of "loony" plate

worked with a guy who had the surname loony. any shouty customers demanding his name, he used to say "mr loony" and if they'd ask for his first name, he'd reply...

"you won't need that, i'm the only loony here"

it broke the ice with some of them, but most just got more upset
