Turning a car over in Tatton Park

Not been for a while, but my mind says it wouldn't be possible by driving sensibly and just 'losing control'?
A colleague was in the back of one of her friends cars yesterday, when it skimmed a tree and overturned... in Tatton Park.
Details sketchy as I have only an email to go on and have not spoken to her.
I'm thinking dodgy driving.

Definately driving irresponsibly.
The roads there are not very wide but they are pretty straight so you can get up speed on them but it a place where people go to relax and have a nice family day out. Also people walk along the side of the road and kids cycle on them.
No need to go above 20 IMO.

You don't need to be going quickly to roll a car if you have things like trees to help you. Been going there for years - even in the snow never seen anyone end up off the road, much less "skimming" trees.
Can't see how it could happen without driver error (probably linked to speed) - but I have however had idiots overtake me, especially down the road towards the Knutsford exit, when I've been doing ~20 mph so it doesn't surprise me that someone's come to grief.

Not sure how anything could have happened 'in' Tatton Park.I can't see how anything could turn a car over in the grounds of the Stately Home.Could be wrong though..

I ride through it when on my bike on the way home from work in summer, from the Knutsford end to come out onto Ashley road, it amazes me how some people seem to think that because it is straight that 40 plus mph is appropriate, not saying that is what happened here but turning a car over at low speed is significantly more difficult than when going faster.
I think a lot of National Trust pass holders use it as a Rat Run as well.
Having walked the Dog in there, my heart was in my mouth a few times near that road as it is treated as a normal road, not a place where there is no question that pedestrains, cyclists and wildlife have absolute priority over cars.

I live 2 mins away from tatton park, and when home from uni am in there A LOT on my bike. It simply isnt possible without being rediculous. the trees are a minimum of 3m from the edge of the road with a small grass verge between. there is a bit where its raised with a steep decline to the grass, but i dont think you could roll a car going down it, and you would still have to drive off the road by a few metres. the mind boggles
