Android Torque App

Just wondering whether anyone here has tried the Android 'Torque' app? You get a separate OBD2 bluetooth connector to plug into the diagnostics socket and then you can see fault codes on your phone, view current parameters, see real-time data on engine torque etc.

It's claimed to work with the majority of OBD2 cars but as normal readers themselves don't seem to be that universal, was wondering if anyone had tried it and on what cars?

I've just got this. Seems good although I'm unsure of the accuracy of the power calculator;

I've just had my car remapped which should bring it to ~185bhp (320Td) but out there just now flooring it to the redline the max power was 163bhp with the car weight set to 1575kg.

I'm using the free version with a cheap (£15) chinese adaptor from fleabay. Works fine apart from not recording mpg correctly on diesels.

Maybe you should be unsure of the promises made by the mapper...

Guess I'll just give a go with the free demo of the app. £15 or so quid for an OBD2 adapter isn't too much to lose if it doesn't do what i'm after. Thanks for the feedback.
