I just cant believe how stupid some people can be, 98 ron fuels in a 1.0ltr car. For the record I have an aygo for commuting and put the cheapest fuel in it!

I used to use Shell regular in my old Fiesta because it made the car run noticeably smoother than supermarket petrol, with less harsh noise from the engine, but I never bothered with higher-RON petrol in it. There is just nothing to gain and it's just throwing money away on an engine like that.
I'm sure all those Aygo owners probably think they are the bees knees and that their cars are running super smooth and ultra clean, but in truth I doubt it really makes any difference at all.
