Cheap Air Compressor - This Sunday only
Discussion
I have had one for a couple years now. Only use it for inflating tyres and the blowgun for drying the bike electrics after a wash or clearing dirt of out tight spots. It came with a paint spraygun, but I have never used it. The compressor air outlet seems to have a slight leak, but if I leave the hose connected that blocks it.
Don't be tempted by the air tools that may also be sold alongside it though. I bought the impact gun set and air racthet set and they have never worked properly. I took the air ratchet back as the trigger valve was stuck on and swapped for another which did the same thing so I got my money back. The impact wrench wouldn't undo wheel nuts that I torqued to 85nm using my torque wrench even after undoing them with a wheel brace and re-torquing to test the impact gun.
The only reason the gun didn't get returned was because I wanted to keep the high impact sockets that came with it. The gun itself went in the bin.

Got one this morning. Not the most well built bit of kit but the 3 year guarantee convinced me it was worth £80. Compared to a Clarke equivalent looked good value. Only plan to use it occasionally. Will let you know how it goes.
Ta for the advice on the tools etc. didn't bother with those and will buy top quality Clarke ones instead
My local Aldi had 8 in and the guy that was there just before me bought the 1st 4. Suspect they'll be on an autojumble type tool store soon!
