After the teaser shots and staged spy shots comes the test drive on ice/snow.
Tells you very little about a car's ride, handling or acceleration/braking and everybody's at it. Any shortcomings doubtless attributed to 'pre-production' vehicles.
I thought the Audi RS3 drive event in Canada was a one-off but I think this is a growing and annoying trend.
