'65 Mustang -Anyone got any idea where this cable connects?

I've got a spare live cable, two wires connect to the choke but there is a third and I can't see where it's suposed to connect, I've searched within the cables reach to no avail, it's a '65 mustang and as far as I can tell it how it left the factory...and ideas?

Probably left for use on another model / trim level. Leave it dissed and see how she runs

yea...I thought that but surely the factory would'nt have just left it? maybe it was a later add on that's now been removed, I just throught someone may of had a similar problem

Mine (1969) had a wire to a fuel cutoff relay/switch(?) on the carb, switched with the ignition.

do you think it was the same type of carb ?....I may be able to try the eldebrook website

Don't think so, mine had a BFO 4 barrel and 6mpg. Might be the same principle.

6mpg? are you sure you had a carb and not a pipe straight from the tank!
