If anybody has paid for or reserved a car then I would sugest calling the number on their website to get more details. If you have paid by credit card any amount between £100 - £30k you will get this back from your card company.

Always seemed like a good idea. Plenty of high quality pics of the cars and full service history info listed.
It baffles me how they can go in to administration, yet Carcraft still exist.

I had a really good experience buying from them.
I actually joined this forum to find out about them before buying and was surprised that there wasn't much mention of them. I posted on a thread but was shot down in flames as people thought I worked for them!
I got a really good deal from them and was happy with the service.
The cars seemed to get lower in standard over the last few months, maybe they were trying to increase profit?
I really liked the concept of paying £100 quid without obligation. I reserved 2 vehicles and went to Bradford to choose the one a liked best. Carcraft get their stock via webuyanycar so they get a good choice.
I was a car salesman in the early 90's and CC was the last place I would have worked!
There is a lot to be said for main dealers and the loyal customer following.

I would guess less good used cars being available probably harmed their reputation and the profit they could make after fixing obvious faults on cars they were selling.

yes they are still selling it appears. However I was 'watching' an octavia VRS in black which has gone up £2k in 24 hrs!!! The administrators may be trying to recover more £££.
I noticed a lot more 'partial' service history and 2 owner vehicles as well, 1 key and bits of trim missing. A sign that they were selling less ex contract hire vehicles which is what they built there ethic on really.
Possibly a a fine line between profit and loss.
