Wonder Wheels - that little brush that you get

I've tried lots of different wheel brushes over the years, some of which seem to be quite expensive.

However the perfect combination for my car's wheels and my possibly somewhat delicate hands and wrists seems to be that little brush that you get with the Wonder Wheels product.



I have been using one for a while now but unfortunately it's on its last legs.

Does anyone know of anywhere that I can get some that doesn't involve buying the wheel cleaner?


If any of you have got any unused ones lying around that you'd swap some beer tokens for, that would be even better...

Try any kitchen utensil section in the supermarkets. Pastry brushes are really cheap and pretty much identical.

Check out stores like http://www.countrywidefarmers.co.uk/ Pick up some hoof oil brushes for about £1.50 a go. Work really well in my opinion.

I use an old dish cloth for regular cleaning, wipes the crap right off. When I had what appeared to be brake dust melted onto my Fiesta wheels with god knows what else, I tried some turtle wax wheel cleaner with a brush like that and it was utter st, didn't even budge the stains!

That said, I do still use the brush when I'm cleaning with proper wheel cleaner, I wouldn't want that stuff on my hands. You could get replacements on the household aisles at most major supermarkets I'd imagine, failing that, any department store in the "kitchen" department.

The wonder wheels brushes are called "sash brushes" if that helps.

If you want cheap and cheerful, they sell Sash Brushes in the usual paintbrush aisle in Wilkinson's.

And they're fully plastic, so no chance of scratching the alloys with the metal bristle surround.

Thanks for the suggestion re the brush.

I don't actually use the wheel cleaner, which is why I wanted to find some brushes that are as close as possible to the WW one without having to buy the cleaner!

This. I noticed the OH using one today and thought shed nicked my wheel brush.
