Its strange but I like it. When you work at the M division at BMW this is what you do when you are bored. Apparently they have an old E30 they made into a pickup and then put an E30 M3 engine in it.

I sort of like it. Always wondered why the only pick ups we get here now at the massive monster truck types - whatever happened to the likes of the VW Caddy or Ford P100?

Its just a tuning company i believe. Its not actually bmw making that. It looks hideous. It Wouldnt be able to carry anything usefull (the payload would be about 500 kg), and what gypsy is going to pay £50,000 for something they cant run on red diesel?

According to a thread yesterday it had been verified as a BMW owned vehicle.

Testing some hybrid drivetrian and batteries and hacking the rear off gives easier access to it all?

Good answer. I also considered a "Touring" version prototype. I cannot for a second believe BM are considering a pick up.
