...............on the inside of windscreen and rear window but not side windows. Is that strange/normal??...any ideas??...thanks.

They're the ones that face the sky more, you lose more heat through them and they fog up more.
Replace your pollen.cabin filters if it's a really big problem. It's normal though.

But it's normal mate, I wouldn't worry about it. Just shove your blower on for a few a minutes and job done!

Cheers guys, only had car for a week and didn`t notice it on the last one. I have checked inside for damp but all fine.

I'd also make sure that the air is not set to "recirculate", as without the air-con on, there is an increasing amount of water vapour in the recirculated air from you breathing out.

Sounds obvious I know, but I've seen so many people driving around in winter with completely misted up windows who must be oblivious as to why...

Yep, all OK there....."recirculate" has been off. I only noticed it when I got in the car last night (8pm). Put heated rear and front on and all cleared in a few mins. Must admit though, was concerned I had a leak and from experience know what a pain they can be to find....relieved it`s not a fault somewhere.

My car gets a small puddle of water in the back where the spare wheel is kept. This causes both the rear and front screens to steam up, rear especially. Check that, it could be it. I haven't thought about pollen filters before though.
