Nurbergring Camping German Grand Prix

Has anyone ever been camping at Nurbergring for the Grand Prix? If so what company and have you used Camping F1?
What are the facilities like around Nurberg? Are there supermarkets or decent shops to buy food, drink and BBQ equipment?
How far is the campsite to the circuit and what is the best day to arrive on?
What are essentials you need to take if they are providing the tents and any other general advice?
Do these places have wifi spots?

Can't remember the place I stayed, but have camped over and also stayed in a local guest house. Being Germany, facilities for camping are very good - clean showers & toilet blocks and well kept sites.

Yep. Plenty of supermarkets, plenty of restaurants, etc. You won't go hungry / thirsty!

There are many camp sites literally within a 1-2km of the ring. Nice and easy to get there

Um... good sleeping bag (can get cold in that region at night!!), a BBQ if you plan to cook your own food, plates / utensils, etc, changes of clothes, toiletries, towels, etc. Again, supermarkets in the area so if you forget something you're not screwed.
