You know that funny rubbery burning smell. Went on for, oh, maybe 1/2 - 3/4 of a mile. I smelt it and I was some distance behind you.
No?
Well, the fact that your steering went slightly heavier and the car felt funny.
No?
Well, when the steering wheel started vibrating in your hands and the car felt really rather uncontrollable.
No?
You know when the sort of round thing overtook you, accompanied by a very loud flapping noise as you tried to get to the hard shoulder.
Ah, yes, that was your tyre, wasn't it.
FFS.

When I heard the phrase "A3 Cab" I knew it was going to be fkwittage of some variety. They do attract a certain "demographic".

I was expecting a boring rant, but what I found was comedy gold! laugh It is insane what some people don't spot or assume is a normal operating parameter of their car. In fact I may pop down the M40 to see this fkwittery.

When was the last time you saw any kind of four-seater cabriolet with the roof down? It's certainly pretty unusual.

Why do people buy cabs if they never make use of them? Thinking on it now I see them on some of the best summer day with roofs on why?????

When i had the Chimaera i made use as often as i could ( with scottish weather) Drop top driving its half the fun of them.

I saw a similar thing once with some fat middle aged bird in a Vauxhall Zafira. I was just leaving the motorway and wasn't able to render any type of assistance (shouting and waving I guess) but I did laugh a bit. One assumes she didn't crash and die, at least I didn't hear it on the news anyway.

Indeed, and right now I'll wager she's sat at a garage complaining that they didn't fix this tyre problem when her car was serviced/MOT'd......
