My dad traded in his 2.7 Boxster for a 2.5si Z4 a couple of years ago. Has always regretted it.

Yes. I tossed up getting a Boxster or a Z4 2 years or so back and just enjoyed the Z4 more, especially the way it looks. . The Boxster is a good car, it just looks wrong IMO and the 911 envy would've been too strong for me.

If you do go for it, get a 3.0i and have fun!

Old shape or new shape Z4 ? Old shape is a bit too soft and feels dated now. Tried a 370Z ?

986 boxster yes the Z4 is an alternative. 987 boxster, No the boxster is miles ahead.
