Thinking about a numberplate for the TVR which effectively spells "LOUD" just wanted peoples opinion on whether this would make me look like a c*ck?

It depends how your making it say loud? if its just badly spelt and only looks like it says loud after 6 pints then its stupid.

On a Corsa, yes. On a TVR, no.

I always associate the TVR with a certain type of gentleman, and the type of gentleman doesn't feel the need to have a private reg that would read 'LOUD'.

If it is actually loud it's a nice touch especially on a sports car rather than a Nova.

Seen a few good plates such as Noisy's and AshV8's plates are both very good..... And appropriate;)

This is all wrong IMO. Why do people do it? I couldn't give give a toss how old my car is/looks to others.

As long as it's still doing what it was meant to do and doing it with gusto, who cares what others think?

Fine on a TVR if "spelt" correctly. Bit like that plate "UR02 SLO" which was great on a Tuscan S but would be idiotic on my Golf.

You could allude to the loudness instead of saying it outright. Is it possible to get a personalised number plate that says "WHAAAT?"

Personally, I'm not a fan of personalised plates. If you upset someone your plate becomes easier to remember... though on a distinctive car like a TVR that doesn't make as much difference anyway. Still, I'd save the cash for the maintenance fund.

Do it! I don't know why people are suddenly so snobby about private plates, IMO if it adds some originality then do it!

Yeah, it was moved to a VX220 at some point. I've seen the plate around Kingston/Epsom.
