I want to change the daily before I die of boredom!
I currently have a 307 HDi Pug brought solely because I do a 180 mile a day commute (mostly all A and B roads).
It ticks the 'economy box' but I can feel my hair going greyer every time I drive it.
I have a weekend toy but as its V8 its too thirsty to use daily.
My thoughts are with diesel 10p a litre dearer could a sensible engined petrol sportier motor actually offset as a realistic daily.
I've held my bike license for years although not used it, I find myself really drawn to the idea of using a bike to commute, (the wife has a car so I don't need to have a daily car) but is a 180mile commute via a bike viable?
Or due to distance and economics am I really doomed to remain an oil burner owner!
