Dashboard light bulbs, where can I find them? (With pic)

I need a 286 Slim Wedge bulb 1.2w as the heater control light has packed in.
Phoned Halfords- they didn't have a clue.

Local motor factors, you'll pay a few pence rather than the pounds Halfords will charge you.
They won't be open on a Sunday though..

My local motorfactors have all types of bulbs available, have a scout around your locals?

T5 bulbs get 'em for a couple of quid for 20.... from Motor factors....don't bother with the kids at Halfrauds.... now if you had asked to go large or fries they have sorted you

I never understand who folk don't just go straight to the dealer for this kind of part. It's the one place that's sure to have them.

And by the way, Halfords bulbs seem to blow quicker than old Christmas tree lights from Woolwoths!
