Any help most appreciated...

My friend has a 54 plate 1.5dci renault megane. He is concerned as the engine light and the service have just come on and both stay on, and he is just about to drive over 1200 miles for holiday. The car was serviced fairly recently.

Whilst driving he has recently noticed a slight delay when pushing the throttle.

Any ideas?

i think on a renault the service light and the engine management light come on together to try and make you take it back to the dealer. Probably for the best to take it to a specialist to get it plugged in.
