What car has made you smile today?

I had the pleasure of following this for a few miles a couple of days ago, what a great thing, made my day!



Talbot 105, I knew nowt about them beforehand but it seems they had some racing pedigree. The later models had a 3 litre straight six pumping out an almighty 125 horses which I'm sure made it a bloody scary thing to drive back in the 1930s on skinny hard rubber. Well, even more scary now I suppose, particularly if you're doing a reliability trial from London to Edinburgh... and back I presume.

One of these. Reminded me of my first car. Very rare sight these days, yet used to be EVERYWHERE!

Actually my own car. Vesuvious 993 polished within an inch of it's life in preparation for selling, sitting in the sun, looking all purpely and lovely (it looks grey unless in sunlight).

Then I cried a bit at having to let it go :-(

I followed a Maserati 3200 GT this morning into work. Black with dark grey wheels and obviously those boomerang rear lights...not only did i smile but i had a boomerang in my trousers too...

Not jealous at all, it was a young, muscular handsome man and had a failry hot brunette in the passenger seat...hurrumph.

Yeah, I used to have a 1.1 Ghia as my first car... I saw one nearly the same as that in blue the other day, and it made me smile wistfully...
