I do a lot of driving over the past 6 years on the same route into Reading, and have noticed a steady decline in reluctance/laziness (delete as applicable) to use indicators. Whether it's changing lanes, off at a exit slip-road (although some give a half hearted blip just as they cruise over exit markings), roundabouts, in fact faced with any situation. It's like they can't be arsed.
Driving standards seem to have gone backwards, or is it just me that notices these things?

I started driving in the mid eighties and have been hearing this for 25 years. IMHO driving standards are roughly the same, just there's more cars on the road these days.

Its like asking for a pint of blood to some people?.

Example I went to help a old chap change his flat tyre last year.
He was stuck there had no idea of what to do?.

Loads of people, walked pass him some laughing etc.
I did it for him 10 mins he said thank you and said take this £20.00

I said no that is not why I helped you in the first place.

I think as a general trend it is getting worse, apart from The Inbetweeners, have you ever heard of Funeral processions being shouted abuse at for going to slow or being given the finger?
