Lots of the recovery yards I go to have them. Apparently great for moving EVs and 4x4s that can't be dragged.
Or stuff that's dead in carparks where trucks can't reach.

It was invented to pick up dead JLR 4x4s with borked and locked transmissions - which is about every 3rd car!

I've seen one lifting a Cullinan, so they are pretty strong!

Saw one going down into the underground carpark at LiverpoolONE a little while ago, thought it looked a handy gadget! I hope the cost is covered under your normal breakdown recovery policy if you bork in an underground carpark though!

Indeed but it can reach places more traditional solutions can't, eg covered carparks with low headroom

I was thinking the other day about the difficulties in removing a broken car from a tight car park. Clever stuff!
