With added crap photos.

This photo is hanging on a wall in a house where we are presently staying.

Our host would like to know the make and model of this white car.

Anyone?

Thanks!

If I squint a bit (well a lot really) I see hints of Cortina Mk1.

I'd go with that, what's the car in the grounds of the big house?

I'll guess at something from the late forties or early fifties rather than genuine pre-war, given seeming the lack of a continuous running board and the squared-off roof. It's too early to have the headlights fared in, however. Something about the proportions suggests it's on the tasty side, too.

One of the many permutations of R-Type Bentley? They were still coach-built, so could come in all manner of shapes.

There's something of the late SS Jag about it too, but we'll probably never know as there were lots of cars that looked at bit like that at the time!
