Last week my son's car alarm went off at 1am. he went out to check, everything seemed OK.

Then it went of again at 1.30, he went out again and found a big moth flying around.

This afternoon my car alarm went off twice outside the house.

The second time I went out, I found another moth flying around up and down the dashboard.

It was swiftly dispatched, so hopefully that's the end of it.

Maybe it's just the time of year or something to do with the weather,,,,

I've had this issue in the past but thankfully on my VW you can push a button on the B pillar and disable the interior sensors.

They've clearly marked you as a soft target so might be worth investing in a steering wheel lock before it's gone.
