Company car abroad (France) and crit air sticker
Discussion
Evening all apologies for posting this in general but couldn’t find anything recent using the search function.
I’m fortunate enough to have a company car and planning to use it in France shortly, applied to get a ve103b form allowing me to use abroad and all come through ok. But I’ve been told they should have applied for a crit’air sticker on my behalf as they have the v5c and will not share a photocopy of it.
Unfortunately the system France use for application throws out the ve103b document and specifically asks for a v5c before allowing me to proceed. Anyone come across this before and any advice/ guidance. I did find a system that looks to be third party that will do it on my behalf but irs 39.95 for the privilege and the sticker is a fiver.
If it makes any difference car is a full ev, so zero emission vehicle
Cheers all.

How is Crit'air enforced?
Do French cities have cameras on the entrance to Crit'air Zones which can read the sticker? Or is the system dependent on local police and traffic wardens checking the stickers visually?
ANPR; international vehicles checked against their Critair database.Do French cities have cameras on the entrance to Crit'air Zones which can read the sticker? Or is the system dependent on local police and traffic wardens checking the stickers visually?
Also spot checks.
I have exactly the same issue and ended up using the only thing that the company would issue to me which was the DVLA V5 Summary (showing Tax and MOT status as well as full vehicle details inc the Chassis/VIN and the Fuel type. Thankfully it was accepted by the French system and my sticker arrived a week or so later.
Same situation for me, went last year and didn't even know about the clean air system until i saw a road sign.
Went to apply this year and their website rejected my V5 image due to failing a virus scan... so I'll yet again just go without. The fine is only 60 eur or something if caught

I'm pretty sure I did something similar a few years ago. Didn't have V5 to hand so uploaded something else random vaguely related to the car
and the system popped out a CritAir sticker a few days later. They might have tightened up their checks since then though! Message Board | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
