My Ferrari 360 is too big for the garage so sits on the driveway. I drive it about once a week on weekends.

My cat keeps using it as a climbing frame and i came out today to find a scratch where she slipped! The last straw something has to be done but i'm not sure what.

I can't park it somewhere else as i keep it on a Ctek charger.

I have an outdoor car cover but the car needs to be clean every time i drive it or this can bring more scratches/swirls.

Does anyone have any ideas that won't be the cost of a carcoon / PPF etc..?

I was thinking some kind of fencing/barrier i could wrap around maybe? Or if there's something i can put around the car to repel the cat?

thanks!

Is it a proper scratch or just a mark like people’s finger nails can leave around door handles? These can usually be polished away easily.

At first it was just footprints everywhere

And there's people dying in Palestine, what does your useless comment have to do with anything?

Two options:

1. Keep the cat shut in the house (at which point a neighbours cat or a pigeon with diarrhea will sit on it instead)

2. Keep the car in the house - who needs living rooms anyway.......

Seriously though you'll either need to accept that a car kept outside won't remain in pristine condition, or spend a bit of money on somewhere secure to store it - there is usually some way of enlarging the garage unless you live on a very small plot.

3. Get rid of the cat.

Get rid of the wife.

Assuming it's her cat she'll want to take it with her.

i see what you mean, it's more the inconvencience of having it stored elsewhere than home, i'd never be bothered to go and collect it and drive it!

It will cost about £4500 to PPF it so better off re-training your cat.

I suppose at least it’s the Op’s cat.
It would be even more annoying if it was someone else’s.

Cats dont like water.
Cars can cope with a splash.
Your cat will learn quickly.
Just setup a tap/cut off so you can turn it off your self.
