Well they do pollute more, it's just everyone is blinkered and thinks only of CO2 emissions when there other harmful pollutants being produced.

Right so it has been pushed for being more fuel efficient than petrol, now they change their minds and decide they are worse. and screw the owners of the vehicles.

Guess as they are not getting as much duty through the pumps for diesel, they need to claim it some how.

And you think sportscars are not going to be a target. Continue reveling in your anti-diesel rhetoric as much as you want, but don;t start complaining when they start raping high performance cars, simply because.

A question. Would you rather be in a locked garage with a petrol engine running, or a diesel?

You'll last a lot longer with diesel. it doesn't produce anywhere near the amount of carbon monoxide.

That's quite funny. I don't recall mentioning sportscars. Or Jews.

Emissions regs for petrols only allows twice as much CO as diesels. Also you don't have as much NOx to deal with with petrol. Either way you're going to die pretty quickly from oxygen starvation if nothing else.

Besides, this is about city pollution, not being locked up with a car. Diesel particulates and NOx are particularly bad for city air pollution hence the additional fees for diesels.
