wifey wants a new car, it needs to be cheap and is to be used to commute to work and shopping (daily occurence).

i am thinking 107 or c1, is there any other options in this price range, and where is the best place to buy from if you have a ~£1200 px. can do finance over 12 months preferably.

Thanks

The Renault Twingo Bizu is worth a look, its currently the cheapest new car you can buy going by the £6595 list price, and its quite well rated.

We'll shortly be undertaking the same exercise. She likes this (but this won't be the one as we won't be buying for about another 6-8wks...)
