Please excuse if its been asked before but is there any scope in the creation of a sub-forum purely for vehicle restorations? As it stands, the subject can fall into a number of existing sub-forums and it can be a bit hit or miss finding them.
No huge drama if its not possible but as posts of that ilk seem to go down well (my personal favorites) just thought it would be good for them all to be lumped together - current and historic.

Thanks for raising this but our Readers' Cars forum is the perfect place for this type of content, so I don't see a need for another forum.

Wow, not condescending at all, well put Ben.

Could you please give us a definitive list of everything that is ok in your opinion to discuss on the forum.

Obviously other opinions are wrong.

It was certainly not my intention to be condescending – I was merely saying that I don't think we need a separate forum for restorations as Readers' Cars is the perfect place for that type of content.

Apologies if I caused offence. Those that know me will tell you that I'm a very inoffensive person thumbup

Fair enough, your post just came across as "I'm right, you're wrong and there's to be no discussion."

Whilst I'm the first to accept that forums need rules, a little back and forth on a subject never hurt anyone.

Bon journée. smile
