Page not 'stopping' on Safari / iMac

Noticed today that the PistonHeads forums appear to be loading something in the background on Safari - no performance issue I only noticed as my refresh button is replaced with a stop button.



Not doing it on Firefox

Thanks for reporting although this is nothing out of the ordinary and happens on all websites

I'm only replying as I can't find the original thread but it's down to pictures not loading on Safari again.

It's not always obvious but the page keeps trying to load and the pictures don't appear. Sometimes it completes but the pictures are just little blue boxed ? marks

Also the circle thingy around the ph logo goes round for ages as the page seems to load for a long long time - this time on Win/Chrome.

Noticing this on my iPad as it constantly seems to be loading something and it’s caning the battery.

Like a laptop thrashing it’s hard drive.

No other websites do this.
