I'm no graphic designer but I'd expect the horizontals on the H, E & A to line up

I like it too, it's crisp and clean and makes the old logo look a bit fussy.

It looks remarkably like the font Alpine use on their website https://www.alpinecars.com, which after some digging, is documented here https://black-foundry.com/case-studies/alpine-new-...

I think it's Geometos Neue, but you're right, it's very similar to the Alpine font. I really like it.

It is a bit off isn’t it, although otherwise probably about what I’d have done given the opportunity. Glad they’ve not fiddled with the smiley logo (my work many years ago) biggrin

Looks like the full scale SVG logo and text render acceptably - although some pixel-peeping might reveal kerning issues - but when scaled down and displayed on the site page header then skew meets whiff.

I’m not feeling it.

Hope there’s no change to the car stickers.

Geometos Neue? isn’t that the latest PTS colour from Porsche?

A bit Art Deco and a lot unneccessary.

I always loved the PistonHeads - like two, capitalised words, but without a space, ever since Ted first unveiled it, after the (necessary) re-branding from Petrolheads, as was.

Most re-branding is guff IMHO.
