Has anyone got a script or method to hide a thread?

Some threads are irresistible and time consuming and I can't rely on my will power alone.

Yes. Press the cross if you're following.

Sorry, I need more help! I'm not following, but if I hit 'watch' and 'bookmark' I still don't see a cross.

Do this for threads you've already contributed to:

...not sure there's anything you can do about 'addictive' threads that are just found at random from the section pages though.

That's for taking the time. Addictive threads on the section pages is exactly my problem.

Maybe I need to use the my stuff page as my entry point to PH. Blinkers, FWOABW.

Yep this is how I do it. My PH bookmark takes me straight to 'my stuff' then read any updates. Then hit the 'gassing station' button which takes me to only the list of forums I tend to look at, ie not the full list of forums.

You can hide whole forums by setting up your preferences. That way you only see stuff you are interested in (but can switch back to seeing all forums if needs be using the 'Show All Forums' link).
