Seems to be working on Wi-Fi, not on 4G. For me anyway.

I'm running Opera desktop browser fully updated & there are lots of images that don't show . . .

For example the opening post there is no sign of the images at all, but if I quote the post I see the code but Previewing the post no visible sign of the image - very strange

This is the code I see when I quote the post but as I say the below image does not show up at all & doesn't show in this post.

Yes but it is more of a thumbnail than a full pic and doesn't have the logo bottom right that they usually have.

Might your mobile network be blocking thumbsnap as part of some kind of adult restrictions?

Well my issue seems to be my ISP/router . . . as disabling my pc LAN port & enabling WiFi & then connecting to my phone's data connection via its Hotspot & I can now see all the images normally.

Have you been messing about with adblockers trying to block youtube adverts and have blocked thumbsnap as a result?

No, no ad blockers.

Well, a nearby neighbour has confirmed it appears to be the isp by not being able to view the image connected via WIFI to the same isp, but disconnecting WIFI & using the data connection from the same device can then view the thumbsnap image.

So yesterday I raised a ticket with G.Network & apparently it is something to do with IWF & needing to add the image uploader site thumbsnap.com to a whitelist which if successful should mean I can continue to view forum postings & images of PH'ers crappy cars, food, dogs, cats etc . . . oh & setting sheds on fire . . .


Cut to today & logging on just having got back home - & they have fixed it already! They have obviously whitelisted thumbsnap so now I can see all the images again.
