Nearly every manual E46 M3 or Ferrari isn’t actually a manual.
I know some deluded or hard of thinking sellers think a gearbox that changes gear automatically with a button is a manual… but for anyone with a brain it ruins the filtering completely.
Using this logic, every automatic for the last 25 years is a “manual”
As the search results image cycles just a few photos, you can’t often find a pic of the centre console area without going into the advert and cycling through.
Since PH is, or should be, a place for sensible car purchasers and sellers, with class-leading classifieds capabilities, this should really be rectified somehow.
If the people who think manual gearbox means buttons to change gear, and won’t yield on this, can we have a filter for clutch pedal (yes/no), and so I can side-step the deluded sellers who think their cars are manuals when they’re actually automatics?
And further to that, a report clutch abuse button, so serial offenders can be taught what a clutch pedal is!

I’m a bit stumped if I’m looking for cars as I’m either having to look at each one, use combos of filters, still check them, or risk missing cars.
This isn’t a great approach to a search query.
It’s broken and should be fixed.
I genuinely wouldn’t have time to look through every advert just in case.
But worse when sellers are wasting my time by having almost every Ferrari F550/575 and many F360 being automatics/F1.
I’m easy in any case, I usually just use autotrader… but it’s stuff like this that I’d expect to be right here, not abused, and keeps me bothering using it much.
