Absolutely, so maybe it should just delete the whole thread if the OP deletes their first post. It's pointless having load of replies to a subject nobody can see anymore.

I don't agree with the automatic quoting of the first post, as it would be a nightmare on those threads where somebody makes a long post with loads of photos. You'd be scrolling endlessly past duplicates of the same thing, which drives me nuts sometimes when somebody quotes a long photo post to make a short comment, especially when they don't use thumbnails.
